You will need:
Masks from
Monti's Pixel Playground.
Download Arrow and Blind masks
Font and Tube of choice. I'm using Mark Wasyl. You
can purchase his art from
CILM
Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow
Lets get started.
Open a canvas of 500 x 500, flood filled with white.
New layer and flood fill with a bright colour from you tube.
Layers/ Load/Saved Mask and load the Arrows mask you have saved.
Invert checked, click ok. Merge group.
Add a gradient glow of Glow Width 5, Soft Corner 0, and Opacity
100. Change colour to a dark colour from you tube.
I'm using black. Add a second black colour further up the
strip to give a thicker colour. Click ok. Add a drop
shadow of H & V =-3, Opacity=70, Blur=5.
Add another layer below this, flood fill with the same red, and
this time apply the blind mask, same settings. Merge
group, and lower the opacity to about 61.
Paste your tube. If using a tube like mine that is already
outlined, don't do this next bit, otherwise add the same
gradient glow. Add a drop shadow of H & V =-3, Opacity=70,
Blur=5. Position as you desire. Mine is over to the
right.
Now take your text tool and write out your saying in black or
the dark colour you used to outline your mask, convert to
raster, add the bright colour from your tube as a gradient glow,
and add the same drop shadow you gave your tube. Next
write your name, this time making the writing the bright colour.
Convert to raster and give it a gradient glow in your dark
colour, and add the drop shadow.
Crop and resize if desired, then add your copyright. Save
as a jpeg and your done.
